The Buggy Beamer Roach Trap, like a sticky trap, waits until a roach wanders in during periods of activity. The roach breaks a infrared beam which triggers a high speed solenoid which , in turn, moves trapping mechanisms and deposits the roach in a sealed Replacement Cartridge. The roaches stack tightly within the cartridge and further compost themselves with natural cannibalism. The trap fills with up to 100's more roaches than a typical ?sticky trap? and the cartridge is simply removed and discarded while it remains tightly sealed. The pulsed circuit of the trap allows battery life well in excess of a year.
