Update/Review Course
(14 CE credit hours)

Only one update/review course is held each year and is open to anyone. Updated products and procedures as well as new complex restorative cases will be shown. Dentists interested to see what C.A.R.D. is about are welcome to attend.

We now continue with the ultra fine points of optimally developing your dental practice:

  • technical understanding and practical skills
  • the keys to the highest practice productivity
  • developing a highly efficient and productive comprehensive practice vs. a high volume, low production toothache/HMO practice.

Dr. Cutbirth will be using PowerPoint and audio-video tapes of complicated, and all new actual cases. These videos are not staged, but footage of actual patients in his office undergoing technical dental procedures such as:

  • veneer and crown preparations
  • provisionalization and seating
  • complex restorative cases
  • increasing vertical dimension
  • treatment of facial pain/TMJ cases
  • critical communication methods during new patient interviews and case consultations.

You will love the Power Point of the difficult new cases, but at your level the videos will really bring home the fine points of technical dentistry as well as the key points of patient communication; presenting and achieving comprehensive case acceptance accompanied by highest patient satisfaction and practice productivity. Dentists must plan and present cases appropriately. If we do not, the patient will not proceed with needed treatment and both the patient and the dentist lose!

Remember:
Technical Expertise + Excellent Communication Skill & Methods + The Top Practice System = Happy Patients and Dentists!

All courses are designed by Dr. Steven Cutbirth. The format of the courses is morning lecture with PowerPoint and slides followed by afternoon hands-on. The goal of the courses is to teach dentists:

  • All aspects of highest level technical Aesthetic Restorative Dentistry
  • Differential diagnosis and treatment of facial pain
  • Case planning and treatment of complex restorative cases, including severe wear
  • Function
  • How to significantly increase bottom line practice productivity
  • How to have fewer and longer highly productive patient appointments
  • How to develop a comprehensive practice vs. a "toothache" practice
  • A practice system that enables the dentist to deliver the highest quality service in the most productive, patient appreciative manner

Each of these courses has been specifically created by Dr. Cutbirth to include the essential pieces of a top tier dental practice.

Whether just opening a new practice or looking to streamline a pre-existing one, dentists attending Dr. Cutbirth's courses can expect to elevate their understanding of comprehensive advanced dental concepts resulting in dramatically increased case acceptance and practice profitability.

My New Practice

"I am thankful that I learned the C.A.R.D. system and technique so early on in my career, thus preventing me from ever entering into a high volume practice. C.A.R.D. has been a pivotal point in my career thus far."
